中国历来有礼乐之邦的美称，民族音乐作品阐释各民族生存环境、生活方式和历史发展，以广博的形态和鲜明的特征体现中华民族文化精髓。民族音乐作品在历史文化发展进程中互鉴融通、兼收并蓄，激发各民族成员对中华文化的认知并内化形成共同的文化自觉，对中华民族共同体意识形成具有持续性塑造作用。基于铸牢中华民族共同体意识目标下的中华文化认同视角，民族音乐与中华民族文化传承和文化创新相互关联，生成了多元一体中华民族文化基因，为推进中华民族共同体建设提供精神文化支撑。民族音乐从中华民族传统文化汲取理想价值和道德资源，具有多元性、融合性和时代性的中华文化认同基本内涵；民族音乐包含着中华民族历史文化发展历程中积淀而成的共同的理想信念和精神特质，从审美特征、意境表述和价值追求方面体现中华文化认同的价值意蕴；民族音乐的中华文化认同实践体系具有系统性、创新性、现代性特征，体现铸牢中华民族共同体意识实践功能。

Ethnic music continuously has been contributing to the cultural formation of the collective consciousness of the Chinese nation. It embodies shared cultural narratives, common ethnic cultural genes, and collective ethnic cultural sentiments, reflecting the aesthetic experiences of multi-ethnic diversity and integration. The practical focus on the cultural identity of ethnic music has been deeply intertwined with the preservation and modernization of Chinese national culture,aimed at fostering cognitive understanding and internalized cultural awareness among members of all ethnic groups. This process concentrates on the collective value consciousness of coexistence among all ethnic groups within the Chinese nation. Theoretically, cultural identity and the consciousness of the Chinese national community are intrinsically related and interact dialectically in practice. Based on a cultural identity system with the goal of forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation, ethnic music should align with Chinese cultural preservation and innovation in three aspects:Theoretical connotation, value significance, and practical demands.First, the focus on the cultural identity of ethnic music in strengthening the consciousness of the Chinese national community is a practical activity that seeks to integrate the sensory experience of musical aesthetics with socially and historically conscious cultural awareness. Rooted in the unique living conditions and historical-cultural contexts of various ethnic peoples, ethnic music has developed distinct musical expression forms and aesthetic values. These unique aesthetic experiences not only reflect the shared foundation of national subjectivity but also create highly recognizable regional and ethnic characteristics. Rooted in the shared historical and cultural traditions of the Chinese nation,ethnic music cultural identity helps establish a rational understanding of this identity among its admirers, transcending immediate sensory perception and achieving a sense of artistic unity within the aesthetic experience of ethnic music.Second, ethnic music contains the common ideals, beliefs, and value pursuits of community consciousness accumulated throughout the historical development of the Chinese nation. The longstanding mutual assistance, interconnection, and symbiotic growth among all ethnic groups in China,coupled with harmonious interethnic relations and inclusive cultural characteristics, have elevated Chinese culture to a spiritual and cultural height filled with a profound sense of national pride and confidence. Directed by the principle of consolidating the consciousness of the Chinese national community, ethnic music serves as a carrier of cultural identity and social-cultural significance. It fosters a state of coexistence between the self, others, and society while instilling a collective sense of participation in social and cultural life. Consequently,the inheritance of Chinese culture is naturally infused with the characteristics of Chinese cultural identity embedded in ethnic music.Finally, the goal-oriented and functional orientation of the “ethnic music cultural identity practice system” in strengthening the consciousness of the Chinese national community is led by the aim of consolidating this consciousness. Through its unique expressive forms, ethnic music culture reflects among others the social ideals of the collective pursuit of a better life. Moreover, this music culture preserves the cultural lineage and spiritual essence of the Chinese nation, transforming it into a vital social practice for the dissemination of ideological and cultural education. Ethnic music cultural education takes the physical and mental growth of music aesthetic practitioners as its internal stipulation and inevitable meaning. It strives to consolidate shared cultural meanings and values,fostering a sense of national and cultural identity.This process demonstrates the value, function, and objectives of ethnic music in strengthening the consciousness of the Chinese national community in the process of spiritual and cultural development in the new era.
